Roosevelt Island
April 19, 2010
My apologies to those of you who’ve read this rerun before. This is a comic that appeared in Lucky, volume 2, number 2, and it stars my dear and imaginative friend “Tom,” about Roosevelt Island. Thank you, “Tom,” for allowing me to exploit your inspired reverie. Next week will be either a dispatch from Stockholm or a new story, depending on volcanic ash, the wind, and the Amsterdam airport.

oh God! that was funny!
I hadn’t seen this before, and it perfectly captures my feelings/experiences on Roosevelt Island.
One more reason to be sad for not livnig in NY. =/Hey, I’ve heard that some time ago there was a kind of downloadable kit that aided in the development of MP3s for events like the MP3 Experiment. A guy told me that on the Urban Prankster Network, saying it once was somewhere in IE’s website, but not anymore.Could anyone tell me if it’s still possible to get this kit? I have a pranksters group in my city and thought about doing an MP3 Experiment-like thing in July (due to vacation and organization and stuff). And have fun on MP3 Experiment Six for me, everyone!
Very funny piece.
I write a blog about Roosevelt Island. May I post on my blog?
You guys get internet over there!?!?!?!
j/k. Of course!
yeah we do except we call it the telegraph
fantastic, tg and gb!
I loved this one! I felt sort of the same way about Forest Hills a few weeks back…
Excellent! Islanders are actually all on a “prisoner” work program. Must return after working or playing in the “real” world. Thanks and keep the comics coming!
