I’m proud to be part of the Fine Prints line at Los Angeles’ excellent Skylight Books this month. Here’s how it works: for every 40$ spent (in store or online), each customer receives a raffle ticket for a chance to win one of the nine (and one on facebook) signed and numbered prints of this comic, ‘The Way Some People Live.’
The comic, originally drawn for Smoke Signal, is also the very first one to appear on this blog, almost exactly two years ago. It’s a favorite of mine and I’m happy for the excuse to rerun it in full color today for you (you can click on it twice to make it bigger):

That comparison of Brooklyn and Manhattan nightlife is priceless. Fewer fedoras and porkpie hats in Manhattan, too. At least, the farther uptown you go.
