Not Comicumentiary (yet)
I know what you are thinking: “Where’s the Colombia diaries?! And what about Siberia!? Does she have any upcoming events?! What is Gabrielle up to now?!”
-The Colombia chronicles are still in production, but I’ve decided not to post them until it’s completely finished. It is a project that I would like to handle delicately. It is also nineteen pages.
-Siberia will follow.
-This Wednesday I will have a comic about polar bears in a reception at the Adam Baumgold gallery. I am not officially on the flyer but I’ve been assured that my piece will hang alongside these great artists’ works, so I took the liberty to sign myself in (also check out their facebook page and invite for further proof):
-This Saturday I will be at Comic Arts Brooklyn, hanging around the Uncivilized Books table. Check out the great line-up of special guests. Then come say hi to me.
-On Wednesday, November 13th, I’ll be discussing comics with Lisa Hanawalt & Dash Shaw for the semester’s final Comics@Columbia event. It is free and open to the public. Here is the facebook invite, if you are on that, and here is the flyer:
-Lastly, check out Tony’s latest videocomic, from this comic:
Well, they left you off, but they also misspelled Spiegelman’s name and so they get two demerits.
Gabrielle, I’m always impressed by the sheer amount of high quality work you get done. You’re a true inspiration! :)
