Canoodling Couple on the Seven Train

I started to move away from this canoodling couple on the 7 train at first, because I find PDA suffocating. Then I realized they’d be the perfect subject, and they’d be too absorbed in each other to notice my rendering them. They were Italians on vacation, possibly returning from The New York State Pavilion to see the defunct World’s Fair, where I sometimes take out of town visitors. They were unashamed and unrelenting in their adoration of each other, and as I drew them, my revulsion turned to admiration, and I began to love love again.
