This was great, as always. You’re like an alien, figuring out our stupid Earth ways of living. In a good way.

Dang I just went to your wikipedia page. Sounds like you’re doing pretty good. Maybe it’s all less glamourous than it sounds…well, obviously it is…still wanna give you a hug, though.

Well, just think: you’re read widely in print and by internet strangers!

Ug, I hate getting my hair cut. So awkward.

    via Troy’s blog (http://uberdionysus.livejournal.com):

I just heard this girl make a joke that went something like, “I was thinking about cutting my bangs, but then how would everyone know I’m smart and into art?”

Thought that was appropriate. Keep up the good work Gabrielle!

    Thank you
For the record, I’m glad I have a wikipedia page, and grateful to whoever made it. I’m also grateful I can afford a haircut! I was just bummed out that day…

You captured so well what the end of winter feels like and also what goes through the minds of us less-talkative folks at the hair salon. Thanks for your work!

my boss just noted that i could use a haircut and I only got a lambiek page (oh, but so do you…that must be some of your earlier work there, I would not have recognized it as yours). Now I’ll go get a pack of cigarettes.

your hair stylist looks like julie doucet in the panel where she’s washing your hair.
lucky you! it’s like a comic book guardian angel swooped in through your pen!
