I kept a July comics diary but will be posting it every day this August. Actually, it’s not quite half-drawn yet. So it’s a sort of selective July-August diary, I guess.

The last panel reminds me so much of my life… I used to lie in bed and repeatedly mouth “Help” to myself but if anyone ever heard me I couldn’t explain it. Bon Viveur!

I totally get the sugar snap pea reference. I’ve worked diligently on my little garden and so far only have two tomatoes. I like your stuff… A lot. We have very similar days. I write poetry about mine; I like your comics about yours.

Those are all great comics, and August will be a better month for you I’m sure. Have faith and don’t stop drawing. There’s a light at the end of this weird dark tunnel. I guarantee it.
You get those times where it seems to be one thing after the other. I have had a year like that and we are only at the beginning of August eik! I shudder to think what the rest of the year might have in store for me. I just keep trying to rack up karma points, surely at some point I can cash them in? Although I am starting to think they a like flybuys, you accrue them, but never have enough to get anything decent :) Just a $10 toaster every 3 years or so hahaha.
