Roosevelt Island
My apologies to those of you who’ve read this rerun before. This is a comic that appeared in Lucky, volume 2, number 2, and it stars my dear and imaginative friend “Tom,” about Roosevelt Island. Thank you, “Tom,” for allowing me to exploit your inspired reverie. Next week will be either a dispatch from Stockholm or a new story, depending on volcanic ash, the wind, and the Amsterdam airport.
Manifestation, concluded
Hello
Please check out the hypothetical cover to my hypothetical SCUM Manifesto on Charlie Orr’s lovely Hypothetical Library Site.
Manifestation, part three
But first:
I’ll be appearing at the Museum of Comic and Cartoon Art Festival this coming weekend, Saturday and Sunday, April 10th and 11th at the 68th Regiment Armory at 68th Lexington Avenue.
Here’s where you can find me:
Saturday I’ll be signing at the Drawn & Quarterly table from 4:00 to 5:00, and at 5:15 there will be a live slideshow of the current story ‘Manifestation’ in it’s entirety along with stories from Robert Sikoryak, Michael Kupperman, Kim Deitch and Emily Flake. Accompanying our shows will be the vocal talents of Sara Benincasa, Sam Seder and Jon Glaser.
Sunday I’ll be signing at the ungodly hour of 11:30 with the Drawn & Quarterly table until 12:30, and 3:00 to 4:00 at the Artists Sketch Table selling drawings to benefit the Museum of Cartoon and Comic Art.
If that isn’t enough of me for you, you can listen to this podcast of an interview of me with the Comics Claptrap, and this one from Ladygunn.
And now, Manifestation, Part Three (p.s: if you haven’t read parts one and two, just scroll down to the bottom of this page and read your way up):
