This is one of the very funniest comics you’ve hit with. Depressing tacos, Don Henley, free bags, the Human Centipede, and Disturbed. What more could one ask for? Really made me laugh so hard! Especially the free bags panel (was that a tit joke in there, or am I reading too much into things?).

You’ve totally succeeded in capturing the moment.

I’m still trying to forget about hearing about The Human Centipede.

Yeah, I watched the trailer and read a little about the plot to see if I could find that dialogue for research. Once it’s in your mind, it’s there forever. Thanks, Johnny Ryan!

It turns out most Brooklyn cstnootiars actually don’t want to get paid hundreds of dollars to sit around being ourselves, eating free danishes, ogling Jason Schwartzman, checking out each other’s sketchbooks and doodling all day!Weird – I’d have traveled to Brooklyn to do that! Do the other cstnootiars all come from rich families? Oh wait, they probably couldn’t get the time off from work. Ah, la vida comica!

Ms. Bell, I love reading your comics.
In this one, the panel where Tom wants one of those free shoulder bags at the comic con. The beautiful girls offering free bags entices him. Then the next panel is so funny, after he sees the bags on a couple of chubby boys in front of him. The bag becomes less desirable without the pretty girls. It made me laff and for that, thanks..

    Hey Gabrielle,
I felt the same way about Human Centipede. Your comic strip inspired me to do a repanel over at my new blog: http://repaneled.blogspot.com

that was a weird reply, Comic-Con Comics « Nonfiction Comics! perhaps that they were not impressed with the crappy attempt of restaurant franchises at making delicious Mexican cuisine??
