Excellent. Great subversion of expectations at the end. And really, your use of color is just beautiful these days.

I think you’ve practiced this philosophy, unconsciously or not, in your comics. I’m always impressed with how real the characters in your fiction seem, and how sympathetically you portray the ones in your autobiographical work.
Also, the colors in this are whoa.
really beautiful colouring, and lovely treatment of the topic. soseki also wrote a beautiful book on a young man learning from his sensei, sad ending, but great book, Kokoro.

I loved this one, Gabrielle, probably because it resonates so much for me. I also appreciate the literary and philosophical references you make, being that I’m not as well-read. In other news, I just found and listened to an interview you did a few years back for the Inkstuds podcast, and did I tell you Joyce Brabner spoke favorably of your work when I met her a month or so ago?
Yes, I did. Now, if I could only find the copies of your work that you gave Harvey in this shipwrecked house of mine. He never threw much away, so they have to be somewhere, unless our Danielle monkeyed off with them…

I have know your comic picture from a magazine which is named”大誌”.
The magazine is sold by some poeple who is homeless and lived on the street.
I just want you know I like your comic and the things you discuss.
