July Diary, Day one
Hello, This is the first day of my 2012 July Diary. I did a comic every day in July last year, and now I’m doing it again. To sort of paraphrase Mark Twain: I didn’t have time to write you a concise comic, so I wrote this wordy one instead.

Hi,
I sincerely tried very hard to finish my story, Helen, but because of this past weekend’s festivities here in Chicago, where I still am, I couldn’t manage it. So I scratched out this little comic for you, it’s the best I can do, for I am dead inside right now.
